The $249 Homepage Repair Pass: a focused fix without a full redesign.
A homepage can have one problem that makes the whole website feel unreliable. This fixed-price service covers one agreed primary issue and directly connected desktop and mobile symptoms within your existing WordPress homepage.
Does your homepage problem fit the fixed-price pass?
The $249 Homepage Repair Pass is for an existing WordPress homepage that needs one contained correction—not a new design or an unlimited site-wide repair.
One homepage. One primary problem. Related desktop and mobile checks.
Existing homepage
Keep the current design.
The page already exists and its basic structure can remain in place. I correct agreed functionality or presentation problems without rebuilding it.
One primary issue
Directly connected symptoms only.
The pass addresses one agreed homepage problem and any directly related symptoms—not several unrelated issues.
Desktop and mobile
Check the affected behavior.
I verify the agreed correction on the desktop and mobile layouts. Wider website or tablet-specific work is quoted separately if needed.
One qualifying homepage problem at a clear fixed price.
Focused Homepage Repair
$249 fixed
For one qualifying primary issue affecting an existing WordPress homepage, including directly related desktop and mobile symptoms. I confirm the exact correction in writing before starting.
✓ Review the reported homepage problem
✓ Inspect the directly affected sections or functions
✓ Agree on the primary issue and expected result
✓ Take suitable precautions before changing the page
✓ Make the defined homepage correction
✓ Check the affected behavior on desktop and mobile
✓ Explain what was fixed and tested
✓ Identify anything that needs separate work
If the work requires redesigning the homepage, repairing other pages, or resolving a wider technical failure, the $249 fixed pass does not apply. I will explain a separate option before any paid work.
A focused correction, tested where it matters.
Review the problem
Look at the symptom on the homepage and how it behaves on desktop and mobile. Identify the affected area.
Agree on the correction
Define one primary issue, the directly connected symptoms to address, and the expected working behavior.
Repair within the design
Make the agreed change within the existing homepage layout and take appropriate backup precautions where practical.
Test and report
Check the agreed result on desktop and mobile, note any limitations, and give you a short summary of the change.
A focused homepage repair isn't a website rebuild.
Full homepage redesign
New layouts, replacing the design system, adding major sections, branding changes, or rebuilding the page from scratch.
Other pages or problems
Separate faults on interior pages, site-wide functionality, several unrelated homepage defects, or a complete website audit.
Security and recovery
Malware removal, reinfection investigation, extensive server or database recovery, and complicated hosting problems.
New features or ongoing work
New integrations, extensive content writing, full-site speed work, migrations, future updates, and maintenance.
I'll tell you before a small repair becomes a different job.
Some homepage symptoms come from a wider WordPress, hosting, plugin, or third-party problem. A fixed-price homepage pass doesn’t automatically include tracing and repairing everything behind that symptom.
You decide whether to accept additional work. No automatic upgrades.
Initial review
Tell me what's happening.
Send the homepage URL, the symptoms, and any screenshots. I’ll assess whether a contained correction looks appropriate. This initial review is free.
Further diagnosis
Separate scope when necessary.
If I cannot define the work responsibly, I’ll explain whether a separately priced investigation is needed. Its deliverable is the agreed findings, not a guaranteed fix.
Different repair
A new written quote first.
If the cause or required work falls outside this pass, I’ll explain the options. You can decline without being enrolled in anything else.
Show me the issue. I'll handle the technical repair.
You do not need to diagnose the homepage yourself. A short explanation and suitable access are enough to get the review started.
What you provide
The homepage URL, a description of the issue, screenshots or error messages when available, relevant WordPress access, and permission for the agreed changes. Please don’t email passwords in plain text.
What I handle
Review the affected homepage area, define a contained repair, quote the fixed $249 pass if eligible, make the change, test desktop and mobile behavior, and document what was completed.
From one visible problem to a checked result.
I define the problem first, keep the existing design where possible, and make only the correction we’ve agreed on.
Send the homepage issue
Share the URL, the symptoms, and where the issue appears. Desktop or mobile screenshots can help.
Confirm the fixed scope
I’ll identify the primary problem, explain the specific work, and agree on the checks and $249 fixed price if it qualifies.
Approve and correct
You approve the scope and payment terms. I make the defined correction without adding unrelated tasks.
Check and hand over
I verify the affected behavior on desktop and mobile and tell you what changed and what remains outside scope.
The pass is complete when the agreed homepage issue passes its checks.
The written quote describes the primary problem and expected result. I won’t mark an unsuccessful fix as finished simply because a change was attempted.
How I check the result
I compare the agreed homepage behavior before and after the change.
- Desktop: The repaired area performs as agreed in the desktop check.
- Mobile: The related mobile symptom is addressed where included in the written scope.
- Unrelated homepage faults, interior pages, and new design requests are not acceptance criteria.
30-day defect coverage
Report a defect directly attributable to the agreed correction within 30 calendar days of documented completion. I’ll correct it without additional labor charges.
- The same symptom caused by a different problem isn’t automatically covered.
- Later third-party updates or changes aren’t included unless my original work caused the defect.
If the agreed correction can’t be delivered after a reasonable opportunity to fix it, I’ll explain what failed and provide a fair remedy for the undelivered repair work. Separately agreed diagnostic work remains distinct.
A fixed price, with clear boundaries on both sides.
Before paid work starts, your written quote explains the agreed correction, exclusions, desktop/mobile checks, payment conditions, and how completion will be confirmed.
You approve any additional work separately. There are no surprise additions.
Fixed-price payment
$249 for an eligible pass.
A qualifying Homepage Repair Pass can be paid in one upfront payment. An advance is not automatically earned if the agreed work isn’t delivered.
Cancel or stop
Part ways without hassle.
You can cancel in writing. I stop safely, account for the agreed work already delivered, and refund unearned payment subject to approved nonrecoverable costs.
Additional problems
Written approval first.
If the work goes beyond the agreed homepage correction, I explain the difference and quote it separately. You’re free to decline.
You can work with anyone you want afterward.
I never host client websites. Your domain, hosting, and WordPress accounts stay in your control. Hiring me for a homepage repair doesn’t tie you to future work or maintenance.
✓ Your domain and hosting remain with your provider
✓ I use only the access required for the agreed repair
✓ No required PixelCrafted hosting or maintenance
✓ You can hire another developer at any time
Your website stays yours.
Whether we continue working together or part ways, the site and its accounts remain yours. I’ll document the repair without creating dependence on me.
Questions about the $249 Homepage Repair Pass
How is this different from repairs starting at $199?
The $199 starting service is for a qualifying minor WordPress repair. The separate $249 Homepage Repair Pass is a defined homepage-focused offer that includes checking the agreed issue and related symptoms on desktop and mobile.
Does the $249 cover the whole homepage?
No. It covers one agreed primary problem and directly connected symptoms within the existing design—not unlimited homepage changes.
Can I send several homepage problems at once?
Yes, you can describe them, but unrelated problems aren’t automatically included. I’ll tell you what qualifies for this pass and what needs its own quote.
Will you redesign the homepage?
Not under this offer. The goal is to correct the identified problem while retaining the existing design. A broader redesign is quoted separately.
What if the problem comes from another plugin or hosting?
I’ll explain what I found. If a wider investigation or external service change is needed, I’ll define and quote that work separately before proceeding.
What if the agreed issue comes back?
I’ll assess whether it’s a defect in my correction. Qualifying problems reported within 30 days are corrected without additional labor charges.
Do I need to move hosting or buy care?
No. I don’t host client websites and maintenance is optional. Your accounts stay yours.
Can I cancel or work entirely through email?
Yes. You can communicate and approve the written scope by email. Cancellation follows the agreed fair payment terms; no mandatory sales call.
Describe what's broken. I'll tell you whether the fixed pass fits.
Share the homepage URL, what looks or behaves incorrectly, and whether it happens on desktop, mobile, or both. I’ll review the description and explain the next sensible step.
